  1. Spectacular shots Jess! I enjoyed reading your account of this trip. The photo of the dead tree in the travertine and cyanobacteria tainted landscape is a particularly dreamy image of fantasy. An awesome shot among many.

  2. Beautiful set of photos. I must get there during the winter. Your first one is wonderful but the coyote curled up as the sun sets is a great capture.

  3. FANTASTIC BUNCH OF PHOTOS ONCE AGAIN.THANK UUUUUUUUUU.SPECIALY THE PHOTOS WITH THEIR HABITAT ARE V.SPECIAL TO ME.THESE ARE ALL WITH 400 F5.6?WHEN DID U VISIT THE PARK?HOW MANY DAYS?IS IT V.EXPENSIVE?

  4. Fabulous.

I have to confess the photo that stays with me is first one of water on rock and the solitary tree. It has become a painting!

The coyote curled up under the later afternoon sky strangely peaceful

  5. The photo of the elk antlers – you said shed antlers, but it looks like they are attached to the skull. Probably a winter kill from the previous year. Great photos. I was a game warden in Wyoming for 30 years which helps explain the email address.

    • Oops, thanks for catching that!
I appreciate the kind words. That must have a great 30 years, I wouldn’t doubt you’ve seen some great sights.

      All the best,
      Jess
